From One Artist To Another.

It all started with a photo.
This photo to be exact.

And it’s caption:

Which then inspired this:

And the chain-reaction of events didn’t end there.
However, I myself was still stuck on what had already unfolded within a mere 30 minutes.  — (Thank YOU modern technology)

But, before I get too far ahead of myself, let me tell you a little more about what I understand of photographer and visual artist:

Elijah is a NY based filmmaker-photographer, with an eye for everything exotic — with a mild to strong undertone of mysterious.

We were first introduced (or more-so, I was @’ed to his Instagram) by a mutual follower of ours who suggested his “dope” photography was worth a glance.
And seeing as I am always open to looking at new work from creative minds, I took a peek.

Quite unforgettably, this was the first photo of his which I viewed:

And from there, I was infatuated all over again by the photography that would pop up on my Instagram newsfeed, captured by him.

Below are just a (very) few of my favorites:

His nature shots blow me away each and every time.
They give off this, “you were here, you just didn’t know it,” vibe.
And often, because of their distinct texture, you will momentarily believe you can reach out and touch these photos.
Every picture having it’s own energy — food for the eyes.

I’m hoping to one day get a real one-on-one with this artistically advanced soul, but until then…
